The starting point for SureSpeak users when they login each day will be a personalized page called MySpeak, which the user will be able to customize. This dashboard will provide an easy way for SureSpeakers to jump into their current practice sessions, review recent activity, and see a summary of their progress, scores, and coaching.
At the core of SureSpeak, iPractice is where the user is challenged to record as many times as they need to do it right, then save and self-score their recording. There is science behind “practice makes perfect”; the act of practicing your speaking with SureSpeak creates stronger pathways in your brain, which in turn leads to more lasting speaking habits.
Users will use SureSpeak to recreate real life communication scenarios within the private, controlled environment of SureSpeak. iRole is both an acronym for Interactive Repetition-Oriented Learning Experiences and short for role playing, a powerful training technique. The feature allows anyone to practice responding to individual questions or comments, then playback all the recordings as a single conversation.
Coaches will use SureSpeak to manage their clients, evaluate clients’ practice, and track their progress. The Coaching Box is the Coach’s cockpit, with all the tools and communication options a coach would require to assist someone using SureSpeak including scoring, text messaging, video responses, number of recordings and time/date.
Detailed profiles of each coach will be listed including his/her expertise, background, and a video introduction. Later this year, Coaches will be able to sell their products and services through the SureSpeak platform direct to users, including DVDs, books, and software.
Short for Questions & Answers, Q&A is a way of facilitating a conversation between a SureSpeak user and someone else: a coach, a friend, whomever. The user can post a question about a recording, then invite someone or open to community to post an answer/response, back and forth until the thread is complete.
On of our most popular features because there are no limitations to what users can practice. While SureSpeak will offer a variety of courses, lessons, and related videos that users can model and practice, Freestyle is a quick and simple way for you to jump right in and use your webcam, while still having the option to share and get feedback on any recording you make.
SureSpeak will have a built-in authoring tool that gives users the ability to create lessons, courses, even curriculums for learning. Videos can be recorded using SureSpeak, or uploaded from an independent source, then packaged with descriptions, graphics, slides, and other related learning materials to form a complete course on any topic. These courses would be published (subject to approval by SureSpeak) to a public course library, and (later) the author will have choice whether to make lessons free or charge a fee for usage.
SureSpeak can be fully integrated with your training program as a supplemental tool that allows users to use SureSpeak technology with the look and feel of your organizations site and branding.
